Yes, Bonnie! My mother and her family moved to Metairie from the Irish Channel in the late 1940's. I will certainly tell her that you found my website. Please come see me at one of the local art markets listed on my website. My mother usually comes and helps me some of the shows. Feel free to email through the website and I can tell you the particular shows she will be attending. My Very Best to You!

Hi Heather. I just stumbled upon your website & blog. Love your artworks. Will definitely become a fan and collector. I'm pretty sure that I was a friend and classmate of your mother when we were in jr & sr high school. She and I both lived on Starrett Street near Kenner. It's been many decades since I've seen your mom but I remember that she had two girls named Holly & Heather. She must be very proud of you.

God bless you and your City. I from up here in Va can not stand to see another Katrina, I am still trying to make others understand the destruction the Government helped make with the horrible natural disaster Katrina created. I can not understand how we can forget so easily. I, since I was able to see the destruction first hand, have always worn a fleur di lis, usually people don't understand, every now and then someone does, that is what is important to me. What is really important to me is preserving the most important city in our nation. With Gustave coming, our country needs to take notice. I would rather New York City lose than New Orleans, NOLA is real American Culture, God Bless New Orleans, I am praying for ya'll, and I think I would lose my heart if your City was destroyed beyond previous destruction. YOU JUST KEEP COMING BACK, STAY STRONG, one day I hope to be there with you to help the fight. God Bless
